This symposium brings together legal specialists in Data Protection and social science experts on direct to consumer genetic testing. It aims to inform discussions on all aspects of data protection and direct to consumer genetic testing: legal; ethical; and social.
There will be ample opportunity for discussion and it is run in conjunction with the Geuvadis (genetic European variation in disease) EU project that is particularly concerned with high-throughput genetic sequencing.
