Born in Italy in 1961, I graduated at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in Literature and Languages in 1987. I am married, with two children. I work at the Italian National Institute of Health since 1985. At present I coordinate the editing of the Institute’s Journal Annali, I am also assistant editor to the Journal of the European Association for Health Information and Libraries (EAHIL), editor the Book review section on Annali, and member of the Advisory Board of the Health Information and Library Journal. I recently worked as visiting expert at the UNFAO Library for six months.
Research Interests
Scientific publications and communication of research results. Evaluation of research output and bibliometric analysis. Development and implementation of editorial standards and guidelines. Training in scientific writing to promote quality in publication. We apply as working group within the Publication Unit of the ISS (;;
